Daughter of the North

Disclaimer* I don't own Lord of the Rings or any of Tolkiens creations. I just own my OC's and their backstories. This story is slightly AU as I know, Tolkien wrote Boromir never married, where as in this tale he does, but it is not a "Boromir lives" tale.

I suppose in some sense of the term my character is a Mary Sue, as I have made her the adopted daughter of Lord Elrond and of mixed Dunedain and Peredhil heritages (one of her great-great grandparents being a Silvan elf), but her story takes place 10 years before the War of the Ring. It is told as a older woman looking back on her life years before. But really I will try for write her not as a Mary Sue, before as with most people I don't like them.

Elweth was born the daughter of a Dunedain ranger and his wife (who's great grandfather was a an elf) was at a young age orphaned along with her baby sister. They were taken in and eventually adopted by Lord Elrond, and adored by him and his children. This is the story of how she meets and eventually (*spoiler alert) marries a most courageous and kind man, Boromir, son of Denethor.
