- most of the characters, in some form, really existed a hundred years ago.thieves, thugs, playboys, high school girls, investigators, saints or prostitutes - they all come from somewhere they believe they don't belong to. they live there and carry this period of their lives behind them. everyone is doing the oldest thing in the world - love.
love finds them and descends upon them as a revelation, but also as a curse. and man turns out to be weak for such gifts. both the dead and the survivors share with their listeners: there is no way out of love, just like death.
