I would like to say that this story isn't about something that actually happened in real life. Although, this story has been playing in my mind since I was twelve and till now I have felt that now I have the ability to write this story. I don't know how long it will take but for now I'll just say, it is 2024, and by the end of this book or novel I will say when I finish this. I also want to say that the characters are in no way shape or form to be relevant to people I have encountered, but I will not deny the fact that some people did inspire such characters. It was a journey when writing this. I hope to be able to release it one day but for now it will just stay something hidden for me and my friends to read. This is also a story that will be switching from different point of views depending on the story plots.

9 Mile Season 1. Freshman Year
I started writing this my freshman year of high school, all the way back in 2004. I was fourteen. So obviously, the beginning kind of sucks. But I promise it gets better. I guess it's not really novel-esque, but hey, it's my story damn it and I dedicated my whole high school career to this thing. Yes,the names in this story are completely weird, but that is because the majority of the characters are actual people I know, myself included, therefore I have used code names, especially since not everything is true about these people. And also a lot of inside jokes, so if something does not make sense to you, that is probably why. Now I know I am not the best writer, as there have been a lot of pointless, and open story lines, but hey. This was all in good fun. And I am very proud of this story. At least some people think that it is interesting! And yes I have stolen a lot of storylines/quotes from Degrassi. That's because I was obsessed. I truly was. And yes, a lot of things are very unrealistic, but I have also edited the shit out of this story to get rid of some of the dumb stuff my young teenage self wrote. Maybe I could publish this, but would need a lot of editing, lol. Also the name 9 mile came from a dirty joke. If you really wanna know, ask me and I will tell you. So yeah, enjoy!:)Complete

One of the most *frequently asked questions* I get from readers of my published novels: "Was Dear Martin the first book you ever wrote?" The answer is no. Dear Martin was the third. The second (at long last!) will be published in Spring 2022, but the first will never see the light of day... Or so I used to say. *Used to* because we are currently in the thick of a literal global pandemic. And we're bored. And trying to stay motivated/encouraged/hopeful, etc. etc. So here it is. Nic Stone's first EVER novel that wasn't supposed to see the light of day. Starting today, April 1st, 2020, I'll post a chapter a day for the next 50 days (you read that right; this joint is LONG) and will leave it up indefinitely. You will laugh--AT me, but also occasionally with me. You will roll your eyes. You will have moments when you wonder if *The Nic Stone* actually wrote this long and intensely tropey and cliche book. About a 16-year-old biracial girl who sometimes glows in the dark, and after the death of her mother, discovers not only some latent supernatural abilities, but a prophesied mission she'll need them for. It is not professionally edited and is likely full of typos (though this was like the twelfth draft). It hasn't been beta-read and probably has some problematic rep in it. But my hope is that by posting it as-is, someone out there who doesn't feel *good enough* will see THIS starting point of a #1 New York Times bestseller and will be encouraged to get the story nagging at them down on paper. What it could be [Englot]
I intend on writing a long story, so chapters won't be as fast paced. These chapters could include real timeline of englot and also with fictional content that I have dreamed and imagined. Imagery that I have played in my head over and over again, all the what ifs and imagining how their interactions are/or could've been. Disclaimer: From a genuine fan of englot and the girls individually, even if they don't end up together my support is always going to be for them. Also I like a good story with buildups so some chapters might be slow and suffocating, but I belive everything is just for anticipation. Like how this year of englot events have a buildup.
