The relationship between Thranduil and Tauriel after the Battle of the 5 Armies. How Tauriel is dealing with the aftermath of the battle as she goes back to Mirkwood and realizes that she has always wanted Thranduil's love and affection in her life. It turns out there has been more behind their turbulent relationship than they let themselves believe. The story follows their relationship from the days and weeks after the battle to many years later, during the events from LOTR and after. I absolutely loved their chemistry in the Hobbit and this is my first fanfic. I tried to keep the characters as close to the movie versions as I could (since Tauriel only appears in the movies and Thranduil's personality is only vaguely presented in the books). You've heard the story of the 13 Dwarfs, the wizard and the Hobbit right? Well they left out one thing, the Unexpected Member of the Company. I was there for it all, from the Shire to Rivendale to Mirkwood and then The Lonely Mountain. You see I am 1/4 Elf, 1/4 man, 1/4 wizard and 1/4 Dwarf so I am tall for a dwarf but not tall enough for an elf/man/wizard. But the elven/wizard side gave me powers that nobody else had, nobody knew who my parents were other then my mother was 1/2 elf and 1/2 man and my father was 1/2 wizard and 1/2 dwarf. Gandalf and Lady Galadriel sent me to "Earth" after Smaug took over Erebor when I was nothing but a little baby girl. 40 yrs later here I am still looking like I am in my 20's with a very bad attitude and wanting NOTHING but to get away from my stupid foster home.......this is MY story on what happened and how I got bad to Middle Earth, trained with Gandalf and Lady Galadriel till it was time to take back the mountain.
