Jonas Kip was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Inoperable, he is moved to a hospital close to home so he can spend his last few weeks in the comfort of friends and family.
Little does Jonas know, his hospital is known for its miracles.
Skeptical, he refuses to believe in miracles. But when the miracle walks right up to him with pale transparent skin and a white dress, it's hard to ignore.
Lila Harper was put on this Earth in 1920 to change it, but her time was cut short by an unfortunate accident. Instead of letting her cross to the afterlife she was given the ability to cure any human in the hospitals vicinity.
Jonas is the first human able to see Lila, and with that comes an unexpected bond that changes Jonas' feelings towards death.
When Lila isn't able to heal him, he must leave Lila behind. But how can he leave Lila to an eternity of loneliness?
