Lady Eveline, the daughter of Count De'Roso, was at a ball. Not a special ball, but a welcoming gift to her brother who had returned from the war, victorious of course. The De'Roso family is very talented; the men always skilled in battle and education, the women beautiful, witty, and charming. So this was a large ball.
What happens? I dunno I have no plot for this.

It was a poor, shivering, elderly woman seeking shelter from the bitter winter storm. Repulsed by her haggard appearance, the prince dismissed the woman. As a gift, the old woman offered the prince a single rose, but when he dismissed her again, the woman's outer appearance melted away. Only to reveal a beautiful enchantress. The prince begged for forgiveness, but it was too late - for she could see there was no love in his heart.
