Moving into a care home for the first time is hard, lucky enough elmtree house seems to be one of the nicer places. Malia, despite her hard start to life, finally finds a home in the dumping ground, among other things.
For the first time ever, she has a proper family, a good group of friends, and a home. However, things seem to change when her feelings for her best friend Liam O'Donovan becomes more then platonic.
What started off as friendly flirting that done nothing but made her laugh turns into something that gives her butterflies, and makes her face heat up, Malia has to learn to accept she might just have feelings for her best friend.
