These two have gone to school together since eighth grade, but still have not yet met! What happens when they stumble upon each other at a fair, and become friends? Katie doesn't want to let Dylan in, because everyone she tends to let in hurt her and leave her. What if Dylan does that too? Dylan doesn't want her to be afraid of him. There is something about her, since the moment that he laid his eyes on her, that makes him want to protect her from everything and keep her to himself.
