Izuku and his older brother have to deal with their drug addicted parents. That is until they get separated. His older brother, Mikumo, goes with their grandpa; he decides to just focus on studies and become a doctor. Izuku eventually is put at a group home for only boys until he is finally released, able to live with his grandma and his mother. Things don't go as planned however, because Izuku winds up homeless. If you are quirkless, you will not only be treated very badly, but in some cases also hunted. Because of the blood. People with quirks have problems getting a blood donation. Someone with an animal quirk cannot donate or get any blood from another animal quirk that is not the same species or another quirk . A person with a fire quirk can only get or give blood from someone with a fire quirk. Blood loss is very dangerous only a quirkless person can donate blood to everyone and become blood from everyone.
