Shadows Cast by a Golden Sun: The Siltsparrow

Skalos; a desolate and widely unexplored planet, wastelands of gray sand & black sand stretch on as far as the eye can see. Skalos is a melting pot of many different races created by the Aure-Anthropos, or the Golden Ones; these races are collectively called Kuleiomer. The Kuleiomer fled to Skalos when the tyrannical Aure-Anthropos empire fell, and the entire planet has a unique, strange, mystical and esoteric culture.
Skalos has four noble houses; House Enkara, House Hammuravi, House Immanuil, and House Khammu. There was once a fifth, but House Gidri was erased from history by House Enkara's tyrannical leader; the Mad Qaisar, Agra as-Enkara.
In Skalos, the old lives in harmony with the new; ancient ruins from a race said to have predated the Aure-Anthropos, simply referred to as the humans, lay in eternal rest throughout Skalos, used by its inhabitants for their rare ancient resources.
After Akkara's village is struck by a sudden attack by the forces of House Enkara, his life is changed forever; he sets out on a quest for bloody revenge, vowing that he will end Agra's tyrannical reign.
