After joining a search party for the missing people in the Cottonwood Mountain range you're scared off by the town drunk and find yourself in a dangerous situation involving the Cottonwood brothers. One of them seems to be nicer than the other but will that last? They're both hiding something from you and it's not the creatures they've mutated to kill.


Didn't have much to go off of in the game so I just changed a few things to make it applicable for an X reader fan fiction :)
Changed i made so far:
• Their last name is Cottonwood because that was the name of their farm anyway
• Jackson isn't as religious as I made William
• Jackson believes that the green heart is a parasite and not from God
•William is bipolar and suffers from depression and anxiety 
• Jackson suffers from depression and anxiety 
• Their father was abusive and they were never taught how to clean up after themselves
