This story takes place in late 2021 when the Covid pandemic is starting to wane and people are returning to regular life again.   Roger is a married man in his mid 40's and John is an art gallery owner in his 40's who has known Roger since school.   Freddie is the young artist having a gallery show and Brian is his professor friend from the university where Freddie sometimes teaches drawing and painting courses.  Brian is in his late 50's.

This was originally housed under a title called - In Another World.  A collection of short fics. Since this has become a long fic, I moved it out to be a stand alone piece.
