But there are at least two such readily available: 1. The Senate might/would resist the suggested changes, especially the most powerful/richest. 2. Commodus might/would resist being sent away to primitive America as ambassador ( addressed in the sequel in my posted works here.) Maybe Dwayne Johnson could be enticed. LOL At least it would NOT be based on some comic book! And the five causes for the Empire's collapse are legitimate historically. (ref. eg. However, just as all hope seemed lost, a prayer for a miracle is answered. In what could only be described as an act of God, UCA discovered a portal being opened in China and tried to invade the other side, only for their armies to be brutally pushed back. It was here the Confederacy is forced to fight against an enemy they thought they exterminated during the Civil War.
