Music blared from the speakers so loud you could barely hear the person next to you. The thumping of the beat from the current song that was playing could be felt internally. Lights were flashing and people were dancing erotically all over the place. This was not Akirah's scene.
Akirah was sitting in a lounge area with the rest of her friends. She had just had a stressful day of classes and was suddenly invited to a club.
She wouldn't have came unless her friend Aniya didn't drag her out of bed and practically force her into coming. She knew it was for her own good though.
"Why did you even bring me here?" Akirah asked loud enough for her friend to hear over the obnoxiously loud music.
