Without Consequence

Music blared from the speakers so loud you could barely hear the person next to you. The thumping of the beat from the current song that was playing could be felt internally. Lights were flashing and people were dancing erotically all over the place. This was not Akirah's scene.

Akirah was sitting in a lounge area with the rest of her friends. She had just had a stressful day of classes and was suddenly invited to a club.

She wouldn't have came unless her friend Aniya didn't drag her out of bed and practically force her into coming. She knew it was for her own good though.

"Why did you even bring me here?" Akirah asked loud enough for her friend to hear over the obnoxiously loud music.

"Come on Kirah, have a little fun! You've been single and wasting away in your room forever. Maybe tonight will be your lucky night." Aniya nudged her with a little smirk.

"I don't need anybody, I'm perfectly fine on my own." Akirah said taking a sip from the drink she was currently babysitting.

"Let's be for real," Her other friend Korey said from the seat across from her. "Nobody is 'perfectly fine on their own' you need to get laid TONIGHT!"

"What?!" Akirah asked shocked from her friends' bluntness.

"Korey's right," Her other friend Bri joined. "I can help you find the perfect guy to pop your cherry!"

"Ew Bri!" Akirah replied disgusted.

"Sorry!" Bri laughed. "Come on, follow me."

Akirah was hesitant. Yes she was a virgin, but was tonight the night that she really wanted to lose that title?

She was the only one in the group who still hadn't lost her virginity. It was a little embarrassing thinking about it.

"Fine." Akirah said, handing her drink to Aniya who was sitting next to her and finally standing up to follow Bri.

"Good Luck!" Aniya yelled after her as they walked away.

"You think she's actually gonna go through with it?" Aniya asked Korey who was laid back with his feet up.

"Probably not." Korey replied.
