All Regulus wants is to not be a disappointment anymore. To his family. His mother. His brother. But it seems that no matter what he does he can do nothing else than let others down.

Being sorted into Slytherin his first year at Hogwarts, Regulus thought he might just be able to make those around him proud but he was wrong. Now, instead, he stands at a crossroads between the heavy weight of his family's expectations, his mothers approval, that he so desperately seeks, and the slipping relationship with his brother Sirius, distancing himself from the family and in turn Regulus as well.

It all comes to a head when Sirius runs away from home during Regulus' fourth year forcing Regulus to make his choice between the person he wants to be and the person he's expected to be.

It also doesn't help him much that Sirius has decided to become buddy buddy with one, James Potter, a boy Regulus despises yet can't seem to ever get out of his head.

(My writing style is definitely inspired by Kill Your Darlings by the way but dw NOT A COPY. This story is very much still in its' starter phase, so i'm very very sorry for the vague description and tags but as i go on with the story i will update it!)All Rights Reserved
