Sharon works in the private wing of the local hospital. This position is very coveted because only the wealthiest of patrons use it. Many of the nurses hope, some secretly and others not so much, that they will be noticed by the wealthy and hopefully marry them. Not Sharon though, she finds most of the wealthy are incredible snobs that look down their pointy noses at the nurses and act as if they are something to be scraped off the bottom of their shoes. With one exception, Penelope Townsend. She is a true lady in every sense of the word and Sharon truly enjoys working with her. Then one day Penelope or Penny as she likes to be called asks her to sit and listen to a request. She then goes on in detail about her grandson and his plight and asks her if she would be willing to marry him. Sharon is shocked to say the least, what the other nurses pray for she wants none of, but reluctantly agrees to come in the next day to meet Penny's grandson...
