The cats of the clans get a prophecy of a bloody battle that soon takes place among their clans. Suddenly cats start dying off, one by one. Fear strikes into their hearts as cats start to turn and cats start to leave, will the battle be in their own clan; or will the battle happen among all the cats? Only a small group of cats seem to know what to do, but what happens when the Prophecy is changed?

But another danger arrises. Mysterious prophecies swarm around the leaders and medicine cats, warning about an evil unknown to even StarClan. Each Clan has their troubles, but this evil- this evil makes them even worse. Blossompaw is the apprentice to Crystalwing, the medicine cat of AirClan, but even with such an important role, she always feels ignored. Everyone swoons over her, sympathising with her, caring for her, when all she wants is for cats not to do that, to listen. However, when StarClan tell her of this evil, she may get the chance to prove herself to everyone. Rockpaw feels like an outcast, everyday being hated on by his Clanmates for seeing things differently. So when the chance to prove them wrong comes up, he doesn't give it a second thought. But the evil still resides, and Rockpaw might know more about it then he's letting on, even to himself. Greyshard, as a former kittypet, has always thought of life in the Clans as challenging. For her, everything seems to go wrong. Every plan, every schedule, every patrol - ends up in a disaster, and its always because of her.
