Can't Forgive, Hope to Forget

After 13 year old Rosemary goes through a traumatic event on the day of her middle school dance, she takes off with her mother away from town hoping to find peace elsewhere. Years later, they move back to find the same friends, problems and hopefully solutions. Will Rosemary be able to forgive those who did her wrong? Can she and her mother overcome the trauma they can't seem to forget? Can Rosemary find her old self to give her some peace?

The story is mostly told through the perspective of Rosemary, but once in a while you'll get a glimpse of other characters perspective as well.
