Jackie Carter is many, many things, but bridesmaid material she is not. Why her brother’s fiancé is insistent on including her in the wedding party is completely beyond her, but with a mother like hers she really can’t afford to say no. Unless she wants to spend the rest of senior year hiding in under a rock, of course. Pair the upcoming nuptials that she really doesn’t want to be a part of with the hare-brained senior projects her teachers seem to think are a good idea, and add in one obnoxiously arrogant almost-best friend, the margin for error’s never been wider. And as Murphy’s Law states, anything that can go wrong, will.

Trigger warning for the following: -mature content -some strong language -fighting -mentions of abuse Everything was cool. It was fine and normal until, a new family moves I'm next door. The beautiful family seemed normal enough, but something was off. Their son didn't fit into the rest of them. He was mysterious and seemed a little bit standoffish. He seemed rude and like he didn't belong. Meeting him went well, and she catches his eye. Going to school together and their families spending some time together causes them to grow closer. So close that things happen. What happens? Do sparks fly?
