She wants to be heard, he wants to be loved. Two worlds collide, and neither of them knew what life had in store for them.

Melody is ignored by her family and is picked on at school. She believes the world is nothing but a disappointment and is just waiting to leave for college. When she goes to a party with her friend she gets sabotaged and when she returns to school, her life is changed.

Melody is given the opportunity to write a song with Kyle Jefferson, the son of Richard Jefferson, a famous music producer. She says no at first but when Richard is offering to pay for her college, any college of her choice, Melody knows she can't refuse.

As she works close with Kyle, they form a friendship and soon Melody feels happy again. But the troubles of her past threatens her happiness.

Will she stand back and let the past control her? Or will she finally make people hear her voice?
