You and Pete had been friends since you moved in next door to each other in highschool. You were shy, but he seemed to take a liking to you. And you did too- having a giant crush on him.
After you both graduated, you moved away to pursue your degree and go to college in a different state. Pushing down the crush and then friendship as a whole, you talked over the phone less and less, until you saw his face on your TV. You knew you had catching up to do.
You scheduled a meetup in your dorm with the now famous Pete, and it led to whole new opportunities and insight. Maybe he actually liked you back, too.
