The battery is only composed of two players, genius catcher Kaname Kei and monster pitcher Kiyomine Haruka. But out far in the field from them is someone with similar talent and determination. After catching a case of amnesia, ex-genius catcher Kaname Kei enrolls at an unknown public school alongside his childhood friend, genius pitcher Kiyomine Haruka. Not wanting anything to do with baseball, Kei runs into several ex-players he and Kiyomine put out of commission, only to reignite their passion for baseball.
