Magic is everything in this world. That is the status quo even for those who lived in the Clover kingdom. If you have powerful magic and are born from a high-class background then you are on your way to the top. Even if you were born a commoner ,you got some chance to matter. But if you are born as a lowly peasant then there is nothing that you can do but live and die in the outlands. Well, that is not the way Luffy sees it. With his close friends and rivals, Luffy strives to break free of that norm and turn the world on its head by joining the Magic Knights and becoming the Wizard King. This is the story of the Black Bull in a Straw Hat!

Book 1: No Regrets, Right? --- It's been 2 years since the Battle of Marineford. 2 years since the straw hats were separated. After taking off from Amazon Lily with Law and his crew, she hasn't seen or heard word from anyone, aside from the plan to meet up in 2 years that Luffy portrayed in his stunt when going back to Marineford. When the Grimoire Acceptance Ceremony begins, Emily receives a fancy, colorful grimoire with a six-leaf clover on it. She was really proud of it, but a bit sad when her friend didn't receive one. But after an intense battle during a grimoire robbery, Asta unexpectedly receives a black grimoire with a five-leaf clover on it. And after the Magic Knight Exams, she decided to join the Black Bulls in order to help Asta achieve his dream of becoming the Wizard King. Now, Emily and her friends will go on many adventures and face many dangers and enemies, including a former evil Wizard King who seeks to destroy the world, and a group of powerful mages with their own agenda.
