"Oh good, you're all awake!" A smiling face appeared on the screen. "So, you're not in Hell anymore, but it's not far off. This world is divided into some pretty nasty factions that are constantly at war. A lot of people are tired of that way of life though, such as the people of this vault. I offered them another way, but a few things have to happen before I can accomplish this."
One moment, the residents of the Hazbin Hotel are facing off against Heaven's exterminators. The next, they're somewhere unlike the Heaven, Hell or Earth they know.

In an attempt to find a non-violent alternative for reducing Hell's overpopulation, the daughter of Lucifer opens a rehabilitation hotel that offers a group of misfit demons a chance at redemption. Charlie Morningstar, the Princess of Hell, and her goal to open a hotel to help rehabilitate Sinners, with the aim of teaching them to be better people, have them redeemed and able to enter Heaven.
