[ WRITTEN BEFORE THE RR SEASON 2 EPILOGUE - READ TAGS ]

Colle's heart dropped just as much as Seer's, and his grip loosened ever-so-slightly.

"That's... not just a fire-"

Lightning struck down across the kingdom. So much of it- but even then, they could barely hear it from where they stood. They watched a building slowly collapse to pieces, and heard as the bricks and infrastructure collapsed onto the kingdom like building blocks.

Smoke billowed further, and a few more strikes of lightning rang out before they went quiet. Then a few more, but they ended far too soon to have done anything.

"What are you doing?" She asked and her voice sounded rather small even to her. She had asked him how to help him. This wasn't what she was expecting and being flush against him she could easily tell just how aroused he was. She didn't think she'd done anything to evoke that kind of response. Clearly she had and there was a kind of rumble she could just barely hear coming from him. He turned her and took a step forward which trapped her between him and the glass there. His mouth grazed hers and she thought that he was going to kiss her but didn't. He couldn't be any more flush against her if he tried and she wasn't sure if she should try and move away or not. Actually a part of her didn't really mind and was rather excited by what he did. Was doing, and she definitely felt a rush through her and her stomach clenched when she felt his teeth scrap against her throat. His hands dropped to the hem of her shirt and rather swiftly shoved it upward as his hands slid over her sides and she shivered for a moment. She should tell him to stop, but she knew he wouldn't listen. Ragnarok is the end of all. The three siblings Fenrir, Hel, and Jormungandr will destroy the nine realms. Once Fenrir is freed when Jormungandr shakes the worlds. It would break open the tomb holding Fenrir and then even the gods would be devoured. But what happens if Fenrir's tomb is opened by a mortal instead? What happens when the siblings of Ragnarok are shown a different choice other then what fate had decreed? Some times it's not about saving the world, just saving one soul that can change the fate of all the rest. How do you stop a god that doesn't care and wants to destroy? How do you love one that has never felt? Are you willing to love someone who may never love you?

Why? That seemed to be a question you've been asking yourself a lot lately. Growing up in the underground was tough. You needed to fight for survival, food, money, and even-your freedom. Danny, you're despicable "father", had you stealing from him any chance he got. He was slick and manipulative. Having to steal valuables for him all while taking care of two kids, Kai and Mary, was really hard. The responsibility you held was weighing down on you, making you think more about them and less about you. You didn't mind though. Anything to stay away from the sinful place you call home. After a while of putting up with Danny though, you had you're last straw ripped away when he hurt you're beloved Mary. You ran away to start a new life, taking Mary with you. You become known as "Shade", a mysterious cloaked criminal known for your stealth and strength. You took pride in your reputation, and the best part was, nobody knew anything about you. They took you in, capturing you to mold you into a soldier fighting for the survey corps. You despised the survey corps at first. After all, they stole you from your home. Took you away from the people you loved. They ruined your life, right? But... did they? You're stubbornness and skill capture the attention of a certain short black haired male. Rain World and all characters in it are made by Video Cult, I do not own these characters or the game. If you do not know what Rain World is, I heavily advise you do some non-spoilery research on it. Heavy spoilers for the base game and Artificer's campaign ahead. ------------------------------------- "The Rain shall fall, and so shall every scavenger in this damn wasteland" "...Ok, but...do we HAVE to kill them?" A story where a PACIFIST of all slugcats ends up in the decaying, rot filled wasteland known as 'Rain World'. Your frail frame and sickly nature will do you no good here, and your vow of peace is nothing but a detriment to you. Sick, starving and having a broken leg isn't the best case scenario in such a place, but when you see that tell-tale sign of another slugcat. A faint hope blossoms. Or A Pacifist (You) ends up in Rain Word and finds Artificer. Notes: You go by They/Them, so everyone can suffer while reading my story equally. Artificer is female in this fanfic. I'm sorry male Arti fans. Swear warning: The Artificer is not known to be very kind with words. Suicidal Ideation: This will also be present, incase you have trouble with this topic, it may be best you refrain from reading this. Blood and Violence: This book will not shy away from depictions of blood, due to me being pretty new to this type of story, don't expect a full blown detailed depiction of every injury, wound or malady that is present. Music: Music will be offered to you. Most of it will be ambience, with the occasional fight theme here and there.
Fragmented Morality by UnlikelyKings
12 parts Ongoing Mature
When the world collapses around you and everything that was 'normal' decays, discerning reality is no longer an innate process, but rather a distorted sense of one's self. Reality was now something created on the basis of an individual's morality and a group's ability to coexist. However, when this was the way of living before the apocalypse, when this was how Christopher Peletier had to survive every day of his life- surviving based entirely on his step-fathers fragmented morality, what changed? What made now different from before? The answer is nothing. The world was exactly the same, and eighteen-year-old Chris had a plan. For his family, he separates himself from the truth. He knows he is more than what he was told, he knows what is, will not be forever. He knows he is strong enough to keep his loved ones safe, too. If he could just endure a little more so that, when the time came, he could take the opportunity granted to him to free himself, his mother, and his sister from their constraints. At the first chance he got, he was going to live by first destroying the part of his life that made his family quiet and miserable. That way nobody would ever be able to dictate the way he, or the ones he cared about, lived their lives. - This is just a story I'm writing alongside my main one when I am in the mood. This means there is nothing saying when it will be updated, but I do have plans for it just like my other one!
