All Thalia had ever known was a life of silence and servitude. Her job had always been to keep her head down and follow orders, and she'd done it well. A mere serving girl of The House of Ellinas, she'd spent her life dreaming of what life beyond the walls was like. But she knew better than anyone else that daring to do more than just dream was something only a fool would do. Her life was comfortable; two meals a day and a bed to sleep in at night, not many could say the same. The Forest beyond the walls had never been forgiving, unimaginable creatures and beings lurking within its wilderness. Which is why she had never expected to wake up in a tree hollow, beyond the walls, surrounded by nothing but silence and a cloak draped over her. Life just got a whole lot more complicated and Thalia needed answers, fast. She couldn't remember much about her last night at The House of Ellinas or how she'd made it to The Forest. With no one to trust and no idea where she was, she had only one thing on her mind: Survival. As her past slowly creeps up on her, she finds herself struggling more and more to grapple with reality. It's all she can do to make it out alive, with her sanity and heart in tact. ***** Hi guys! This is my first story on here, so please let me know what you think :) © 2016 Beenash C (Bee143). WARNING: THIS BOOK HAS MAJOR PLOT HOLES, AND IS ALL TOGETHER VERY BAD. I SUGGEST YOU READ MY NEW BOOK, Skeletons In My Closet. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. When they slowly cut my skin, I didn't scream, when I felt their blades lightly drag across my stomach and legs I didn't shake. This was my life and I was used to it. It was fine. When his red stamp hit my card, I couldn't dare look. But those red letters attacked my eyes; Weak. ---------------------- This was the Alpha playing with his food. I could imagine how he would stalk to me, his head high with all his teeth showing. His pure white fur not being touched by the dust he had created when he chased after me. I can only imagine how every step for him would be a leap for me. That blood would hang from his mouth and drip onto the forest floor but not even faze his fangs. I was terrified of him. Even if I couldn't bring myself to mention it, to be weak and choose to submit. These thoughts kept me running, the invisible echo of a laugh that wasn't really there stayed in my ear, even though he was nowhere to be. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• He was terrifying, but yet, at he same time he was safe. AU: I STARTED WRITING THIS 2 YEARS AGO. ITS NOT THE BEST STORY.
