Enoch O' Connor, the dead riser, lives a solitary existence. He is content in his own company, constantly moody and hates showing positive emotions. To anyone. But deep down, he is as emotional and caring as everyone else. He just needs a friend. But no one was like him. No one understood.

Kade Lynn Harper, the shape-shifter, ran away from her abusive parents after a fight. She accidentally stumbles upon a loop. Miss Peregrines loop. Kade is alone, sad and hurt. And it seems like shes the only one.

But then she meets Enoch O' Connor. No one seemed to love being around him. He was strange, grumpy and uncaring. But Kade knew how to find what a person was really like, behind the wall of lies and fake emotion. And Enoch was just like her. He needed someone, so did she.

Maybe they can find solace in each other.
