In a universe where the roles in Kimetsu no Yaiba are swapped, Sanemi Shinazugawa was subjected to become a demon. Unlike demons in the original series, this transition was liberating for him.
But this cruel demon will soon find a soft spot in the most unexpected of places. That soft spot is a young girl named Sumi Nihomi. The human girl re-teaches Sanemi human values such as friendship, loyalty, and love. But will these values be worth it in the end?
