Addilyn Webster has her whole life planned out. Graduate from Laumyrt Uni with her biochemistry degree, win the annual spring figure skating competition, earn a spot on Team USA, and thrive in her adult life, preferably without a man in the way. With hockey season starting back up, she has to now share the rink with the players and that's the last thing she wants to do. She's in no mood for any form of distractions that could stray her away from her hard work. One distraction in particular she's worried about.

Ethan Malkins is the goalie of the Laumyrt hockey team, one of the best the university has ever seen. After making his team lose the Frozen Four last year with his internal struggles thanks to losing his high school sweetheart, he's locked in. Women won't get in the way this time. At least...that was the plan. Meeting a sassy green eyed figure skater at his practice may just be what lures him in and repeating his same cycle again. That's a risk he's not sure to take, but it's tempting. She's tempting.

Addilyn is reluctant to let another man into her life, Ethan is fearful to fall in love because of his own history. They have their own careers and hobbies to prioritize, but it seems fate continues to lead them back to one another. It frustrates Addilyn, it amuses Ethan.
