Promises can come in many forms. It come's by word of mouth. " I promise." A promise can come through a contract that is signed by all parties saying that you will do something for something in return. Hell, it comes through marriage vows. " I solemnly swear to be there through sickness and in health. For richer or poorer. Until death do us part. " Everyone believes a promise is something that is not broken or shouldn't be broken. Some say that promises are made to be broken but, these people still believe in the power and the faith of a promise. Then you have me. I am someone that knows all promises are broken. I am someone that believes in keeping promises I make, and I believe in the power a promise can have. In order for me to keep my promises I have to be smart, deliberate, strong, and straight forward. I will do anything to keep promises and I am sure that will end up putting me in a six-foot-deep hole.

A promise is an assurance where one will do, give, or arrange something, undertake or declare that an event will happen. A promise is sacred and a verbal commitment that isn't meant to be broken. But what if the person who promised you left without a single word and disappeared without a trace? Will you still hold on to his promise and wait or will you give it up?
