A story of how the 71st Hunger Games might have went.

17 year old Johanna Mason, from District 7, which specializes in lumber, must navigate a deadly forest arena filled with dangers. Armed with an axe and her sharp wit, she fights to survive, while torn between her love for her mentor and her fellow tribute. As alliances shift and enemies close in, Johanna faces impossible choices between heart and survival. Will her fierce determination and cunning be enough to see her through the Capitol's deadly game? And what will become of her if she does.

But by the time she realizes how she feels towards Finnick, will it be too late for the both of them?
