"Counters"

In the rain-soaked town of Whispering Pines, secrets clung to the mist like dewdrops on spiderwebs. Milli Envy, daughter of Merquesa and Roven Envy, carried a legacy of tragedy.

Her mother, Merquesa, once danced with shadows. But one fateful day, during a walk with her friend Andria Falk, something shifted. A whisper of guilt, perhaps. Merquesa's trembling hand pushed Andria into the path of an oncoming car. The screech of tires, the sickening thud-it echoed in Merquesa's nightmares.

Haunted by remorse, Merquesa leaped into the same car, sealing their fate. Andria, now a spirit named "Counters," wandered the rain-soaked streets, seeking balance.

Milli, caught in this web of sorrow, invited her grieving father, Roven, to a restaurant dinner. Rain drummed on the roof, and the roads glistened. But as Roven sped toward the restaurant, the car skidded. The world blurred, and he crashed.

From that day, Andria's whispers grew louder. The ledger of life-the "Counters"-demanded equilibrium. Milli, torn between love and duty, unraveled the threads that bound her family.

In the heart of Whispering Pines, where raindrops held secrets and spirits kept tally, Milli sought answers. But the forest whispered back, and the scales of justice trembled.
