At the mention of his fiancée's name, Wonwoo felt worry wash over his body like cold water run down his spine and his stomach churn with anxiety. What could've possibly happened to Junhui and why is the hospital calling him? Did something happen?

"Sir? Are you still there?" The woman's voice called out, prompting Wonwoo to come out of his thoughts.

Wonwoo swallowed before answering, "Y-yes... Yes, I am here... I'm sorry." He says before continuing," I do know him-He's my fiancé. May I know what happened to him?"

"I'm sorry to inform you that Mr. Wen has been rushed to the emergency room to undergo surgery due to his wounds caused by a hit and run accident. The doctors are doing everything they can to help." she stated, "I would need you to come here this ins-" As those words were heard, Wonwoo's hand went limp, and the phone fell from his grip, landing with a loud thud on the carpeted floor.
