Are you looking for a story about a teenage boy who overcome the obstacles of this roller coaster called life with friends, family, and a little romance, you've come to the wrong place. Welcome to the not-so-wonderful world of Cameron Banks, a teenage boy who can't overcome the ups and downs of life, doesn't have friends, doesn't get along with his family, and romance isn't even in his vocabulary. When Cameron gets kicked out of school and joins Twin Oaks boarding school, everything changed for him. He has friends, he's away from his family, and someone might just be interested in him. It looks as though Cameron Banks in all set up for a happy ending of his sophomore year, but looks can be deceiving.

Deep in the breathtaking forests of California, there's a school unlike any other-a hidden haven for six teenagers from all corners of the globe. Life here isn't perfect, but it's normal... until it isn't. They laugh, they argue, they grow-bonded by late nights, inside jokes, and the magic of their differences. In this strange, beautiful mix of cultures and identities, growing up feels a little less lonely. But then something changed. Something cracked the core of their tight-knit circle- A fight? A betrayal? Or something else entirely? Now, with trust shaken and the future unclear, the question lingers: Can they find their way back to each other? "We're different. But that doesn't mean we have to shrink ourselves to fit what society expects." - MacKenzie Gauthier
