Think of a zombie-virus, spread by bite. A bunch of rag-tag scientists want their names on tv, so they begin to create a 'cure to rabies'.... This 'cure' goes horribly wrong, starting a zombie-like virus that spreads throughout the entire WORLD.
There are five people who find each other in the midst of the chaos. Axel; a nervous pushover of a mother, Jack; her husband who isn't particularly the nicest, Jayline; a mouthy woman who takes problems seriously, Annie; a gentle yet distant giant of a man, and Robin; who has always been a bit of a mystery..
When the dust settles, the five move into an abandoned farm together. It is decomposing, and old, but the five begin to build it all back up. Though there are issues to face. Axel is falling in love with Jayline. She has to keep it a secret from her husband, though their marriage is already falling apart at the seams.

Dr. Elizabeth Hunter thought her life as second year resident could not get anymore frantic than her ER rotation. Crashing heart rates, bottoming out blood pressures, and hysterical patients were something that she could handle. She'd been trained for it after all. But when a patient came into the ER with an unknown disease that Elizabeth has no idea how to treat, she found herself thrown into chaos as the newfound illness plagues the US. After a few close calls, Elizabeth joined ranks with Sergeant Luke Falls who lead her to a military base. Elizabeth tried her best to navigate the unknown in her post-apocalyptic reality, fighting off infected while trying to treat them as patients.
