Poems about the city I left behind and the people I knew there. My stories will continue to bring to life their cyclical problems and flaws in the forms of demons, but that perspective can get one sided. The demons don't exist in these poems. It's just about people full of hope and love, and the environment they compromise with every day.

All of me, the hard parts of flesh you could never seem to love, drips down the drain. I am waiting for the day for your fingers to unscrew the pipes, dig through debris and mess, scrape your heart against the rust, just to find me, so we can go through it all over again. Here, in the pages I find myself, in the ink that writes against my flesh, I will whisper the sadness, the heartache, and the decaying for all of the unspoken. حان وقت إكمال ما توقفنا عنده، رحلة لا تزال في بدايتها.. ستضحك..ستبكي..ستؤلمك قصة أحدهم، ستتعاطف مع آخر. لكن في النهاية ستحزن على فراقهم جميعاً. في بعض الأحيان تكون إرهاقات الفراق أسوأ من الفراق نفسه، عندما تشعر بثقل الحديث حتى يقل مع الشخص الذي كان السلام بينكما يجعلك سعيدًا مبتسمًا. شعورك عندما تكون حزينًا ولا تسطيع أن تتحدث معه خوفًا من أن تكون حملًا ثقيلًا عليه.. عندما تريد أن تعبر له عن اشتياقك؛ لكنك تتراجع خشية ردوده الباردة، كيف هو شعورك وأنت الطرف الأكثر بذلاً للجهد.. لم أكن أطلب الكثير.. كل ما كنت أريده فقط هو أن يكون لي نفس الحب الذي أقدمه! كنتِ ولا زلتِ نجمة مضيئة في دربي، يزداد وجهك ويزداد حبي..مهما طال فراقنا فأنا لا أتخلى عن شيء أعتبرته مِلكاً لي.. وأنتِ أعز ممتلكاتي.
