Time has taken a 180-degree turn, which leads me to question the correct definition of "time". Is it the passing of seconds, or the allowance of this world for new events? If I were to believe in the latter, it would mean time has stopped for me.
With no memory of how it all began, I wake up every morning to the same exact occurrences as those of the preceding day; and nobody besides me seems to notice. I can't tell if I'm in a dream, or if there's a way out, but I've looked everywhere for an explanation.
Then my situation finally took a major shift—with the discovery of a golden notebook.

My work is published under category "Physics and Astronomy" by "Lambert Academic Publishers", but its for the general population as well to read! My work is purely scientific and is based on facts. It is, in short, a sequel to the books of Stephen Hawking namely "A brief History of time" and "Black Holes And Baby Universes", and also a sequel to Albert Einstein's "theory of relativity". I feel that this is going to have a lot of sales as well and since its extremely short (around 14,000 words and in 42 pages only) and mentions to the point theories and science, the people will eventually love it! Its written in extremely simple language so that the people may understand with ease. NOTE:- My book will be launched in 2 weeks. So I wish to send the pdf copy of my book. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.Complete
The Rat King
My name is Nolan Moore and something special happened to me. Or at least that is what the psychiatrist calls it. I think it was disturbing, too horrific for words. What happened to me was something that keeps me up at night. Sometimes I lay in bed and stare at the ceiling for hours, even days. I get shivers down my spine even writing this down, but I have a feeling that I will be gone soon. So, if you read this, then you get a glimpse of my soul. I pray that before the end of my story I will get forgiveness for everything I have done. Just remember I did this because I thought it was the best thing at the time. Clearly, it wasn't. Time is a thin line floating between what was and what will be. It's flowing through space hoping to reach an end. Normally whenever someone makes a choice, time itself splits and although we don't feel a thing, it still happens, nonetheless. But now something happened that had never happened before. Two new lines that were created flowed alongside each other through the endless void, seeking their old one. They were never supposed to collide, but one strange afternoon everything went wrong. Captured By A Demon
I finally escaped the factory, they kidnapped me from my college. Today is my birthday, and I had planned for it but nothing helped, only calming me down for the moment. A scream echoed out in the silent starry sky, my body freezing... They were looking for me, I just knew it. Again, I ran and jumping over the fence to the property, muscles burning, my breathing short. I look behind me, not seeing the light of the school anymore. I slow down, holding my breath again. Looking around, only trees and bugs surround me. I slowly sank to my knees, gripping the grass in between my fingers, to keep my breathing calm. Tears springing to my eyes and brushing the tears away, slowly getting back to normal. Suddenly, I felt someone behind me. I could feel its strength and power surround me, turning around to see a dark figure behind me. Glowing blue eyes stared at me, seeing it slowly walk toward me. My breathing becoming short again, a panic attack was on the verge. A hand was now on my shoulder and another on my cold cheek, making me look into his eyes, "Let me help you..." He whispered. Rubbing his thumb against my cheek, I slowly nod my head, when a pain began to form in my chest. I knew it was coming. I quickly get away, crawling a couple feet away. "Get away!" I yelled. My skin turning white and the pain erupting inside of me, feeling it try to escape, and I know if I let it. It will hurt this man. Suddenly, he was there in my view. Blue eyes staring at me, and then his lips were on my own. Gasping as I felt the pain beginning to disappear from inside me. Eyes drooping and my body relaxing against his. Soon, the kiss ended and I was empty. My eyes closing. "Don't worry, I will keep you safe..."Complete

First there had been rumours that the mass die off of politicians and top international business leaders had been targeted in the largest revolt in all of history. When no group came forward to claim responsibility, eventually someone noticed a pattern, that nearly all the dead, were known to be corrupt. Whatever had happened, Rhys wasn't going to stick around in the cities to see what had happened. He grabbed his bike, and took off, planning to set up in some remote mountain.
