An anomaly was discovered in the form of a rift that transports a person to another realm. Mobile Task Force Nu-7 is tasked by the 05 Council with containing this anomaly. Stepping through, they find a realm straight out of fantasy books, but they soon discover there are other, darker forces at play.
Author's Note: This probably won't be long, as it's sort of serving as a way for me to knock the rust off from not writing for 7+ years. I have the overall story and the direction I want to take it in, it's just gonna be putting it all down the way I want and dealing with any writer's block I run into.
I'll try to keep this updated as regular as I can, and keep y'all updated when I run into issues.

The Splice of The Realms
In a world divided into four groups, there is a role for everyone. Every group has their own realm found in each corner of the country they share. The top right corner has the largest population. There lives the people of the Mystery Realm (M.R.) They're the police force, detectives and prosecutors. They're the only realm which carries weapons of any kind. However, they don't kill. While they do value law and order, they don't like violence and tend to avoid it. The bottom left corner has the second largest population. The people there are born with unique powers. They're called the Supernatural Realm (S.R.) They tend to be optimistic and stubborn. They value relationships and would do anything to keep the people they love safe. The top left and bottom right corners are tied in regards to population, however, that is the only thing they share in common. These two realms couldn't be more different. In the top left corner is the society of the Technologically Enhanced Realm (T.E.R.) The people here develop technology the other realms could only dream of. They don't socialize with others and tend to keep to themselves. They understand complex equations and theories, however, they have a hard time understanding human emotion. Finally, in the bottom right corner lives the peaceful and happy people of the Primitive Harmony Realm (P.H.R.) The people here lead a simple life and believe in nature and its gifts. Because of that, they were blessed with healing abilities and elemental gifts. Additionally, the herbs they grow are just as magical as the people themselves. Their carefree and charismatic tendencies cause them to always believe the best in people, even when they shouldn't. Corporal Anthony Stillwater and Specialists Nancy Nagle and John Bomber barely survived a brutal surprise attack by a masked killer in their own barracks. Now, their convalescent leave canceled, they find themselves back in the 2/19th Special Weapons Group barracks on top of frozen Alfenwehr. In charge of Rear Detachment is a supposed sadist and psychopath, Lieutenant James, who has been tasked with repairing the barracks. A simple enough job. However, the troops that have been sent up to Alfenwehr are soon going to discover than they are not alone. For those of you having trouble with the terms, I've put in a lexicon under my works. Hidden Away [out of order]
(This is a Dream SMP au. I don't know much about Dream SMP, so there will be a lot of mistakes. Also things will purposely be different because it's an au.) There is a realm above ours, a realm full of powerful people who may one day be sent down to help our realm grow and prosper so we may continue to live on it. These people are called Admins, and their realm is now as The Plane. The Plane is a place where time is different, for only the leaders of the realm age beyond our idea of 10 years old. The leaders are called the elders, and they decide who will be sent down to our realm, The Overworld. To be sent here, a select pick Admins go through rigorous training until they are decided worthy enough to be given a chemical that will allow their powers to work in The Overworld. The most recent admin, a mask wearing boy called Dream, has been sent down and has made friends. But when a ghost of an old admin reveals what the chemical really does to Admins, Dream must make a choice that is beyond difficult. His children, or minions as some may call them, the blobs come in existence and it is then Dream must make his choice. Push everyone away and live in their hatred, or watch everyone he loves die because of him. "Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. The person, who I assumed was the captain of the small squad, signaled for them to walk again. They clearly showed fear as they kept going; brandishing their weapons to guard themselves with. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Her life isn't the kind anyone would want to live but she's managed to survive this long so, what's a few more years?Complete
The Hawaiian Special Forces
This is the story I'm writing for NaNoWriMo 2015. The goal: 50,000 word RAW draft written entirely in the month of November. Unlike most of my stories, which I prefer to edit before posting, I'm actually going to post updates to this at the end of each day in chapter-sized chunks. The idea behind this story is that a terrorist attack in the near future causes the US to go hyper-isolationist, to the point that it abandons Hawaii and Alaska to fend for themselves. They do, forming the United Pacific States (maybe with a few other island countries). Hawaii then goes on to turn itself into the new world police with stealthy, genetically modified cyber-soldiers. I'm marking this story as mature because there will be action scenes, and probably some interesting perspectives on nudity and relationships. I'm not planning on anything explicit, but this won't be a kids book. Validated winner at 50,040 words!Complete
