Drevor Alistair Jariero, is an Engineering Student who is also The Team Captain of the Basketball Team, Phoenix. He is well known for his outstanding performance at School and for being that perfect epitome of TDH(Tall, Dark and Handsome) Many girls admired him and even tried their luck to be with him yet, nobody seemed to catch his interest-well, that's what he thought. Until a girl his mom sent to stay with him arrives.

Her name is Maria, a girl who went to Paris to pursue her dreams. As his mom's best friend's daughter, she moves into his apartment, they quickly become close friends. They study together, share meals, and laugh often.
Drevor feels more at ease with her than anyone else, though he thinks of it only as friendship.

Everything changes when their parents reveal the truth. Maria's stay was no coincidence as they've been engaged since childhood as part of a family promise. Shocked, Maria decides to cuts off all contact, avoiding him even in school refusing to believe that she'll marry her best friend.
