" NO....NO, PLEASE AISA MAT KARO..... MERI MUMMA KAHA HAI, AAP MUJHE YAHA KYUN LAYE HO.......MAA....KAHA HO AAP." A boy kept crying and begging for help, he was hungry and tired, his body looked bones and shaggy. His clothes were worne out, he was severely malnourished and was in a dire need for medical attention. His cries died down and his tears dried, there was no one he can put his hopes on. A 12 years old boy who learnt to survive through pain and desperation for freedom all alone until he turned 19 when he broke free from his tormentors.

NO ONE, he had one one he can call his own. No family, no friends and specially no one to be called his beloved.

I was hiding behind the door and sneakily looked at the scene unfold infront of my eyes. My father did this to my mother every night. I've witnessed my mother body beaten to black and blue but still she smiled when she saw me looking at her. Earlier I thought she was smiling coz she was doing ok but as the years passed by I started realising that her smile never reached her eyes.

She is my home, my hope and the only one I can call my own but for how long. I can feel her losing hope from this life with each passing day and finally she did closed her eyes basking in the sweet maze of death............and I like a coward ran away on my 17th birthday.

Both were broken, both were stolen of their innocent childhood and both needed an anchor to keep them steady in this deep notorious sea of cruelty. What will happen when their destiny will bring them together, where one wants protection and the other wants peace.
