"There is no terror in the bang, only in the anticipation of it" - Alfred Hitchcock.
Leighton Hotchner spent most of her life watching over her shoulder. It comes with the job, you might think and that's partially true. Although, her monster hit way before she made it to the behavioral analysis unit. She knew how it would end, she knew the second she's stop looking, the monster would come back, appearing in the darkest corner of the room, ready to get it over with.
Despite that, she loved deeply, cared profoundly, worked hard and tried to live a normal life, until the day she finally did stop looking...
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
OR
Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
