She said with a playful glint in her eyes, gently creasing his bearded cheek, a sly smile resting on her lips as she looked deep into his eyes.

"Trust me when I say... I didn't even know this side of me existed. I mean it. I don't know how you manage to bring it out of me every single time."

He replied, losing himself in her presence, pulling her closer as if even that wasn't enough, breathing in her scent.

"Being used hurts.
Being overlooked hurts.
Being just an option hurts.
Not being understood hurts."

I said, breaking down completely, unable to hold back the storm of emotions any longer.
