For the last year Maisie has kept herself and 49 other kids who were as unfortunate as her alive, while slowly working towards getting justice for them all, and their lives back. She's kept them hidden, gotten them supplies, and created a life that could be enjoyable while living in The Den. But after they break out the next 50 kids from being science experiments, one boy won't leave her alone.

When Cameron was sent to one of the most well-known schools, notorious for creating the most well-behaved kids, he thought it was just going to be a few years of discipline. But when they arrive at the school and he can't see any classrooms, he figured something was wrong. He knew something was wrong when other kids seemed to appear out of thin air, broke them out, and brought them to a hidden tunnel. All he wants is awnsers, and he figures the leader of these hidden kids must have all of them.

Alexandria Simmons has never been noticed at her high school, Hartwell High. Alex had an average life, it was as if she was riding one of those slow kiddy rides at an amusement park, that you were forced to go on by your younger siblings or relatives. Her life was simply too boring, plain, simple, so bland. That was until Mr. Jayce Reynolds stepped into the picture. Jayce Reynolds, who was sort of like a younger cockier version of Cameron. Everyone expected him to take over the football team once Cam graduated. Being only a junior, and being one of the best football players in that school was something everyone idolized him for. He was expected to become a football player by his classmates, or to take over some big corporate company by his dad. Speaking of his dad, his family was probably the most dysfunctional yet peculiar group of people that ever stepped on this earth. Aside from that, having the "perfect" girlfriend and being a part of the "popular" crowd had its perks, but Jayce thought otherwise.
