Heroes of Dreamland Rewritten, Book 2: Stars in Far Places by ebearskittychan
42 parts Complete
In another time, far from where we first began our tale, a young Star Warrior wants nothing more than to be a hero. With the help of his teacher, maybe one day he'll learn to use a sword--while taking the time to read a few comic books along the way. Life on Star World is great--at least for some people--but there's always a real worry tugging at his heart, made constant by the nightmarish visions that visit him almost every night... A time of evil is drawing ever closer, but Blue feels anything but prepared. Elsewhen and elsewhere, a monster is being trained to despise its people and hunger for their destruction. What happens if you teach a being how to use unbridled power, and then take away everything it's learned to care for, turning something pure and gentle into something hateful and cruel? Scientifically speaking, it might be interesting to find out... Such a beast must certainly be helpful in the coming war... One warrior helps to bind both of these threads together with the distant present that must be left alone a while in favor of other times. How does this hero bind the story together? Who are they? That's all anyone's guess, at least for now. What matters is that even far away from Popstar, even apart from the Warrior of the Stars, there are still stars that shine in the Galaxy, stars whose stories are more closely intertwined with his own than we might ever imagine. (I do not own the Kirby series or any part of the Kirby series, be it locales, characters, names, trademarks, etc. etc. Nintendo/HAL Laboratory does. I own all of my OCs, locales, names, etc. Please don't take them without asking. Thanks, all. I hope you enjoy.) (Cover: @PsychicNature.)

Darkness surrounded me as I woke up, disoriented and gasping for breath. My mind was clouded with confusion, and my body felt heavy and sluggish. It took a moment for my senses to adjust and for me to realize that I was no longer in the virtual reality simulator that had been my prison for so many years. I sat up and looked around, my eyes slowly adjusting to the dimly lit room. It was empty except for a single figure standing in the shadows. As I focused on the person, a sense of familiarity washed over me. It was a girl with long, flowing hair and piercing eyes that seemed to hold the weight of the world. "Who are you?" I managed to croak, my voice barely above a whisper. She stepped forward, her gaze never leaving mine. "I am a goddess," she said, her voice carrying a hint of sorrow. "And I am here to offer you a chance at a new life." The words hung in the air, filling the room with a heavy silence. A new life? It seemed too good to be true. But as I looked into her eyes, I saw a glimmer of sincerity. There was something about her presence that commanded my attention, that made me believe there was more to her than met the eye. "Why me?" I finally asked, my voice filled with a mix of curiosity and skepticism. She sighed softly, her expression softening. "You were caught in an accident, one that I caused unintentionally. It left you paralyzed, trapped in a simulated world. I cannot undo what has been done, but I can offer you a chance to start anew, to live a life free from the confines of that prison."
The Strange God by Zpine_

There was once a being revered as a god in a universe with a trillion stars. How many of these stars could sustain life was unknown, but this universe no longer exists. When that universe disappeared, another took its place. It sprouted many new stars, and after a long time, life also followed. Many stars that established civilization still feel the echoes from the old universe. There was a legend that if an individual whispered a particular god's name and wished dearly, offering the most precious thing they had in return, it would grant them one wish. These wishes could be as simple as having food and shelter for a day or as outlandish as making someone fall in love with them or disappear from existence. This legend can be traced back to when sentient life forms developed ways of passing down verbal and non-verbal knowledge. The story comes in different versions, but the main message remains: one wish, one sacrifice, by one life. Strangely enough, this particular god received a series of peculiar wishes from different individuals across various stars in the new universe. Nameless god: "What is your wish?" Lucy: "To be reborn in a fantasy world with you as my father who loves me dearly until the end of my natural life." Nameless god: ┬─┬ノ(ಠ_ಠノ) Mike: "To relive my life with you as my lovely little sister." Nameless god: (╯°□°)╯( ┻━┻) Gabby: "Mom." Nameless god: ┻━┻ ︵ ¯_(ᴼل͜ᴼ)_/¯ ︵ ┻━┻ Nameless god: "Who is whispering my name to these people across the universe, spreading it like a common cabbage on the roadside!? Come out, and I promise I will not do anything ungodly. Let's talk about life, hmmm!!!" Unbeknownst to this god, there was more to his myth than he knew. +++++ Schedule: Sorry, everyone. I've been really busy, so I'll be putting this novel on hiatus for now. +++++ Stay Safe and Healthy! Thank You for Dropping By! +++++
