After he met his best friend Alice who made them both join a coven of other vampires, he thought his life would be as good as it could ultimate be. However, his fate has different ideas, when it sends Mirella -Milly- Swan down his way. Paul Lahote, the guy who is known as a hot head down at La Push, never wanted to have to depend on any person. When he wakes up one morning as a normal human being and falls asleep as a shifter, he finally thinks to know his fate and why he wasn't made for closed relationships. However, a certain girl whos sister he detests seems to be made to become what he never wanted to face. A force to put his trust into someone else but him. Milly Swan always preferred to live with her father, the police chief Charlie Swan, rather then spent her days by her mother, Renee. However, when she finally had the chance to live with her dad, her sister had joined in the offer before Milly had even been able to hear it.
