Hello, Mr. Umbrella
A tale of friends, love and storm| Aliyah Santos is the hijabi valedictorian at the elite Prestige High Academia - but that title might not last as long as Clarissa Cheng; her rival and also captain of the school's cheer squad have not given up on making her life as hard as hell. ***** The last year of highschool was supposed to be wonderful and memorable, but for Aliyah, it was far from wonderful; but at least she made memorable bittersweet memories. May the lord grant her the steadfastness she needed. Dealing with her lifetime amnesia which started since she was ten, she still had to lie low in other to avoid being the next target of the anonymous Gossip-Girl-wannabe; an attention-seeking student who went rampage and writing truthful lies about the king and queens who literarily ruled the school; Aliyah's name seems to be on the list. As if life hasn't treated her bad enough, she falls in love with the boy she knew she can never be with - a non-Muslim neither her parents nor her religion can approve. In search of her past, shredded memories, she met the trending lie; Mr. Umbrella. Mr. Umbrella uncover many secrets that changed her already worst life into something far from worst. Head Over Heels
Lila Daniels has spent all of her life living under the protective wings of her three older brothers, Charlie, Lucas and Tucker or in the gymnastics gym training. None of which resulted in much of a social life. All of that changes though the summer before Lila's junior year of high school when her dad gets a new job in a different state. Being forced to transplant her life to the small town of Romeo without her brothers or gymnastics means Lila is on her own for the first time in her life. How is she supposed to start over from scratch and make new friends now?! The thought of having to meet all new people for someone who likes to fly under the radar is hard enough, but to do it at age sixteen? That feels impossible. As fate would have it, Lila meets Payton Johnson on her first day at RHS who introduces her to Rachel, Kelly and Claire. The five become fast friends. The girls make it their mission to break Lila from her shyness and make Romeo feel like home. Oh, and they also recruit her to join their cheer team which isn't something Lila ever thought she'd feel confident enough to do. Then there's Tyler Johnson. He's the senior football captain, star quarterback and most popular guy in school who happens to also be Payton's older brother. Lila doesn't want to catch feelings for her new besties brother, but quickly realizes you can't really control who you crush on. It's not like Tyler would ever go for her anyways, when he's got so many other girls begging for his attention....or would he? Its Leah again here to rant about how obsessed I am with the new kid from NYC. He has such a bad boy vibe, not to mention all the rumors floating around town about why he got sent here. We don't get a lot of excitement around here in this small town. I spend most of my time as a ball of anxiety, but painting helps. My little sister Mia is like therapy when she sits down and paints with me. She is such a little angel. It seems like there's Never anything exciting, until the one day there was. After that day it became ritualistic and the secrets started to come out one traumatic event at a time Sincerely, Leah Brauner.
