An Au idea I got from the word "Somnolent" which means "feeling sleepy or drowsy." And the main point would be Moon being Gregory's protector but the difference is that he's still actively being affected by the virus and has moments where he loses control- Gregory can counter this by shutting his eyes and pretending to be asleep.
