Jordan Stricker has always been on top-star quarterback, popular with friends and admired by his peers. But when Khalid, a new student with an easy smile and effortless charm, arrives at school, everything Jordan has worked for feels threatened.
Jordan's initial reaction to Khalid is unexpected and intense-an inexplicable mix of jealousy and attraction that he can't quite understand. As Khalid effortlessly makes friends and excels in football, Jordan's insecurity grows, fueling his resentment towards the newcomer.
Khalid, unaware of Jordan's inner turmoil, tries to befriend him, offering kindness and support despite Jordan's cold demeanor. Their interactions are fraught with tension, each encounter revealing layers of complex emotions and unspoken desires.
As the football season unfolds and tensions rise both on and off the field, Jordan and Khalid find themselves drawn to each other in ways they never anticipated. Jordan must confront his fears and uncertainties, grappling with his identity and his growing feelings for Khalid. Khalid, in turn, navigates the challenges of fitting in at a new school while unraveling the mystery behind Jordan's animosity towards him.
[boyxboy] Adrian Sanders has had a crush on Derek Peterson for three years in high school. They played on the same side of the field, locking up any receivers that tried to get receptions on them. Adrian is the only person that knows that Derek is gay, but Derek doesn't know that, until Adrian sees something that will change their relationship completely.
WARNING: There are massive spoilers for Teammates With Benefits. If you don't want a book full of smut, then this book can kind of be read as a standalone, but I would not recommend it. There will most likely be smut, but this is going to be a slow burn. Homophobia will be way more present than it was in Teammates With Benefits.
My updating schedule will be the exact same as it was for Teammates With Benefits. Every Monday and Friday at 7 AM PST/10 AM EST. This will be consistent throughout the entire book.
This book will probably be under constant editing, similar to Teammates With Benefits.
Again, the schedule of these football (American football) games will not be the same as it is in real life. In real life, college football ends in January, but in this book, games will go until May.
This is most likely not going to be the only sequel/spin off I write off of Teammates With Benefits. I'll see where all the characters are by the end of this book, decide if I want to or am at least motivated enough to write another book with these characters. I most likely will be.
