1997, you come to Windsor College with both Randy Meeks and Sidney Prescott, the three of you are survivors from last year's killings in Woodsboro where two of your other guy friends Billy Loomis and Stu Macher were the murderers, mainly targeting Sidney, but killing everyone else to get them out of the way or just people who are stuck-ups.
