Something that happens to us can sway our way of thinking and involuntarily cause us to develop some sort of barrier or coping mechanism that, for better or worse, may change who we are and our perception of things, but sometimes all it takes is a single thing or person to alter that notion.

Ridwan wasn't always like this, but his stepfather made sure it changed the moment he arrived.
